A Heart for Paws
Giving stray and neglected animals a second chance through rescue, rehabilitation, and compassionate community care.
In April 2018, Noeme Pulma, Ysa Agawa, and Marie Custodio organized A Heart for Paws Gensan after noticing that no animal welfare group existed in the city at that time.
In March 2019, the shelter moved to its current location in Calatao, Tambler, allowing the group to continue growing its rescue efforts and care programs.
Our mission and vision include rescuing, sheltering, vetting, and rehabilitating stray and abused pets and animals.
Today, we care for over 320 rescues and fosters.
We aim for a city that chooses compassionate solutions over euthanasia and advocates strongly for responsible pet ownership.
